AbortionHumankind is just to intelligent to breed uncontrolled. The majority of our problems in the world today can be traced to over population. Abortion is not just a moral issue, it is a survival issue as well. We do not advocate abortion as a means of birth control, however, the aspects of totally outlawing abortion must be considered. The standard that has been in place since Roe vs. Wade has worked well and can continue to work until we improve the aspects of society that are causing the need for abortion in the first place. Still allow abortions in the first trimester, and in cases of life or death. But, lets stop the need for abortion. Allow and promote the morning after pill as an alternative to abortion. Make contraceptives easily available. Provide REAL sex education in our schools to include disease and hygiene issues. Teach moral responsibility as an aspect of the welfare of society, not just a religious prerogative.
